Now in its 15th year, the Montgomery Village Farmers' Market is a program that was selected by the Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) Board of Directors to be developed as a community enhancement in 2011. A 2010 community-wide Long Range Facility Planning study found that a farmers' market was the second most-requested addition to the Village community. Seen as an program that could be implemented in a relatively short span of time and represent a visible sign of progress toward updating the Village establishment, the MVF Board initiated the MV Farmers' Market.
