Helmets & Harvest is a celebration of Maryland bike trails and agritourism across the state. With so many beautiful trails, parks, farms, and restaurants to explore – this is your ultimate fun pass for fall! Using the free digital pass, sign-up by region to find suggested bike paths and fall activities to do across the state! There are four passes available:
- Central Maryland
- Eastern Maryland
- Southern Maryland
- Western Maryland
Each pass features 4-5 bike trails and 8-10 agritourism activities. What is agritourism? It can be pick your own apples and pumpkins, a winery, distillery or brewery, or even a stay on a farm! We have selected a variety of AGtivities for you to enjoy with family and friends just in time for the fall season. Once you have signed-up for your pass, visit as many locations as possible between September 15-November 15 and earn points as you complete each check-in. Those points can than be redeemed for prizes!

There’s so much to do in the fall on the farm! From apple picking to pumpkin patches and enjoying a glass of wine, our farms are ready to offer a bounty of activities and
products for you and your family! Please note that many pick your own operations were affected by the April 21 freeze – especially orchards so apple picking may be limited or not available this fall 2026. However, many of our farms will still offer other events and products so that you can still support them! Any restaurants being featured are known for utilizing local products in their dishes.
