Ingredients
- 6 lbs collard, kale or chard greens or a mixture
- 4 onions sliced
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 1 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 15 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 cups veggie or chicken broth
- 2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- Smoked turkey wings optional
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté sliced onions in a couple tablespoons of olive oil until starting to soften. Add garlic cloves, vinegar, hot sauce, sugar, broth, crushed red pepper and paprika. Add in turkey wings (if using) and greens.Bring to a boil, turn down the heat, and simmer for at least 30 minutes.
