Chef Scott's Favorite Marinade: Ginger-Soy-Orange Marinade

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup orange juice*
- 1/4 cup olive oil canola/olive blend also works well
- 2 tbsp orange zest grated orange peel
- 2 cloves fresh garlic chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger minced
- *1/4 cup dry cooking sherry can be substituted for ~cup of orange juice
Instructions
- Stir together all ingredients and chill for 1 hour. Place meat in shallow dish and pour chilled marinade over meat. Cover and chill at least 2 hours, with up to 8 hours being even better. Remove meat and grill on a hot grill to desired doneness.
