Happy Maryland Wine Month! This March, Maryland’s Best is bringing you a delicious celebration in partnership with the Maryland Wineries Association. Introducing: Sommthing Tasty – a month-long event that pairs locally-made Maryland wines with your favorite Maryland snacks!
What’s Sommthing Tasty all about!?
Each Wednesday in March a new video will premiere on Maryland’s Best social media pages. A wine expert, educator or sommelier will match different varieties of Maryland wine with iconic Maryland foods like Otterbein’s Cookies, Goetze’s candies, OLD BAY products, crab cakes, and wild-caught Chesapeake Blue Catfish. You’ll learn how and why each pairing works.
The Magic of Maryland Wine
Maryland wineries take pride in sourcing locally! Maryland wineries are required to use at least 75% Maryland-grown grapes to label their wines as Maryland wine. With over 100 wineries to choose from, there’s plenty of tasty options!
