Be sure to sign up for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore’s Small Farm Conference on November 6th & 7th in Princess Anne. The purpose of this two-day educational event is to provide a venue for farmers, landowners and supporters of agriculture to come together to network and learn about new opportunities and strategies that promote farm profitability and sustainability.
Seminars and topics will include goat and sheep management, bee keeping, growing specialty crops, home food preservation, how to become more business and market savvy, legal issues and regulations that affect small farms, and much more.
