Whistle Punk Farm LLC

Whistle Punk Farm was launched in March 2012 and is nestled amidst the rolling hills and valleys of Keedysville, MD approximately 60 miles NW of Washington, DC and Baltimore. We are a small, diversified farm focused on producing exceptional pastured meats (eggs, poultry, & heritage pork) far superior to that which you can find in any local or national-brand chain store.

Whistle Punk Farm embraces a permaculture-like design to support the sustainable needs of the plants and animals on our farm. Animals are rotated through pesticide-free pastures and woodlands to support a diversified, well-balanced diet of plants, nuts, grasses, legumes, brassicas, vegetables, fruits, bugs, and nuts without depleting any one of its resources. Because animals are rotated every few days to new pasture or woodlands, they are healthier and do not suffer from parasites or respiratory and other diseases brought about from confinement conditions. This produces superior quality goods without the need of antibiotics, growth hormones, and GMO grains.

Our animals free-range as they choose in the sunshine throughout the year, birthing their young in our fields versus cages, and growing slowly by foraging on healthy, foods found in nature.

Unlike the grayish-pink colored pork you buy in the grocery store, our pork is a deep red color with intense marbling that melts in your mouth.The marbling has a distinct, yet subtle, sweet and nutty flavor because our hogs are finished on acorns and orchard apples. Our poultry is a farm favorite; it’s tender, juicy, rich in flavor, and sure to please your palate!

Whistle Punk Farm offers many options including weekly and monthly pork and chicken bundles delivered to your door, a la carte cuts (loose sausage, maple links, bacon, pork chops, pork butt, shoulder, ribs, whole chickens), and whole and half hog options.

For those of you interested in helping preserve the Gloucestershire Old Spot pig, we offer registered piglets from the red and black groups in the spring and fall.

We are passionate and humane farmers raising healthy and happy animals, providing delicious, natural meats free from antibiotics, medications, and GMO feeds. We enjoy sharing our farm and practices with others and we look forward to speaking with you soon!
