Romano Vineyard & Winery

Romano Vineyard and Winery is located south of Washington, D.C., in the scenic rural tier of Prince George’s County, Maryland. Our family is committed to producing small lots of handcrafted wine from the grapes grown in our vineyard and those of carefully selected custom growers. We believe that wine is made in the vineyard: quality grapes make quality wine. That’s why we give every ounce of attention to our vines, so that they’ll produce the high-quality grapes that give us one of Maryland’s best wines.

Today, the vineyard is home to six wine grape varietals – Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chambourcin, Vidal, Cayuga and Traminette – as well as six table grape varietals.

We’re open the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays September through May and EVERY Saturday June through August. Come by and see us!
