Prune Cake

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup Wesson oil
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup prunes, chopped and rolled in flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour and dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk, and liquids. Bake for 1 hour.
- Boil the following together:
- cup sugar
- stick butter
- /2 cup buttermilk
- tsp vanilla
- tsp corn syrup
- Pour mixture while hot over cake.
