Fresh Apple Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups apples grated
- 1 cup pecans chopped
- 1 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cocnut
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups self-rising flour
Glaze
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup sugar
Instructions
Cake
- Mix sugar, oil, and eggs.
- Beat well, stir in flour and cinnamon.
- Add apples, nuts and cocnut. Mix well.
- Pour into a 9 X 13 sheet cake pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes.
Glaze
- Mix all the ingredients and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
- Punch holes in warm cake and pour glaze over cake.
